"Working Effectively with the News Media"
A suite of workshops tailored to the client's
needs.
Hundreds of
executives, managers and other professionals in
the crossfire of public life have benefited from
a suite of media relations workshops developed
by our founder, David Workman, and associates.
We
offer a series of options tailored to the client’s
needs. The workshops are fast-paced, real-world and
interactive. Participants leave with skills and
tools they can use immediately. Our workshops are
designed for executive leadership groups, management
teams, work groups, conferences, and similar
settings.
Depending on the
clients’ needs, workshops give participants skills and tools in:
 |
Understand
how reporters, editors and news directors think about everyday
events. |
 |
Understand
how the events you're involved in can, or do, become news. |
 |
Anticipate
opportunities to make news. |
 |
Learn
the "do's and don't's" of working with reporters. |
 |
Anticipate
issues and communicating in high-risk situations. |
Dave is available through the adjunct faculty at the Center for
